For small producers of family farming, trading their production has always been a dimension little attended by public and private institutions. This situation prevented them from gaining access to sufficient income in relation to their efforts. The establishment of the Zonal Hub Market in the City of Posadas (Misiones) turns out to be an innovative participatory alternative of the administration searching to assist small farmers in this crucial situation, thus providing them with an alternative space to commercialize their products directly. This presentation exposes the background and the way this market operates, the profile of the participating producers, their characteristics of production, associative relationships created, and the marketing strategies they plan and practice within this field.
