Abstract

In the first phase of the sovereign debt restructuring carried out by the Kirchner administration, different organizations in the national and international levels grouped the creditors affected by the 2001 default, and were the government´s interlocutors in the complex negotiation that culminated in the 2005 debt exchange. This work aims, analyzing various secondary sources, to state a typology of these organizations, present the most important ones, describe their negotiation strategies and outline some of their limitations and specificities in light of the historical precedents.
