Abstract

The change in the pattern of accumulation that occurred since Mauricio Macri won Argentina’s Presidential elections in 2015, placing the financial valuation of capital at the center of the process, is astonishing both for its speed and for the set of conditions met (economic, political and social) that have guaranteed its development. In this framework, the objective of the paper is to analyze the aforementioned conditions, focusing on the regulatory framework, the political support achieved by the ruling party, and the lack of capacity of the affected sectors to oppose effective degrees of resistance to these transformations.
