Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the investment performance of the large non-financial companies that operate in the Argentine economy in the period 2002-2017. The aim is to investigate both the investment trajectory and the sectoral profile of the investment, as well as what concerns a set of variables that interrelate with the capital formation process. The investment rate of the business leadership shows a divergent trajectory to the trend that is noticed at the national level and whose movements tend to dissociate from the main factors that influence investment decisions. However, in the work an explanation of this phenomenon is tested from the sectoral analysis of it.
