This study aims to analyze the role of sectoral and occupational factors on the unequal risk of being employed in precarious jobs within the structure of the Argentine urban labor market during a period of stagnation and economic crisis (2013-2022). First, cross-sectional evidence is provided regarding the configuration and transformation of the labor structure by sectoral and occupational coordinates. Then, the differential impact of low-quality employment within the employment structure and its evolution during recent phases of stagnation (2013-2017) and crisis (2018-2022) is examined. Finally, logistic models are presented to explore the relationship between relevant variables and the differential exposure to precarious employment. For this, cross-sectional data obtained from the processing of microdata from the Permanent Household Survey (EPH-INDEC) is used.
