The agricultural policy of the third Peronist government and the conduct of the business organizations

Abstract

The work seeks to analyze the main guidelines of the agricultural policy carried out between May 1973 and October 1974 during the administration of Horacio Giberti at the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, and the reaction of the main agricultural business entities. During this period, an attempt was made to carry out an integral transformation of the sector. after an initial stage of acceptance of the policies implemented by the business entities, a growing discontent was generated which, after the death of Juan Domingo Perón, took the form of a growing destabilizing offense.
