In the new forms of knowledge production, innovation constitutes the mechanism for competitiveness. In this framework, technological innovation processes are not reduced to the capacity of companies, laboratories or the public sector, they need a set of agents involved who interact with each other instead. This paper presents the results of a case study carried out in order to gather information aimed at analyzing successful processes of vinculation and technology transfer between the academic and the productive sector, ensuring to determine the factors which made its development possible
and the eventual positive effects of these interactions. The analyzed case was carried out between 2011 and 2016, and its objective was to promote the use of solar energy connected to the low voltage power grid in argentina and the development of the associated technologies necessary for its implementation.
