Abstract

This text sets out to expose a series of opinions from significant referees in the analysis of the agrarian world, with special emphasis on clarín Rural and its director Héctor Huergo –perhaps the most listened to medium and voice due to its massive diffusion–, with the purpose to present a concentrated image from the official perspective, meaning the dominant one, about how to interpret and reflect on nodal aspects of the history and current affairs of the argentine agricultural sector and, more particularly, of the pampas.
Beyond our position, we trust that - without ignoring the great diversity and heterogeneity of the perspectives that oppose official thinking - the exercise that we propose will help to visualize and estimate it in all its magnitude.
