This paper aims to carry out an exploratory analysis of the ownership structure of the Insud Group and its recent trajectory. This is a conglomerate that has shown remarkable dynamism in the pharmaceutical market, achieving an internationalization process and a productive articulation with industrial policies and the science and technology system. Due to the limited availability of information sources, the paper adopts a methodological strategy that reconstructs the business conglomerate through various complementary sources that make it possible to identify the companies controlled by and linked to the group (the Directory of Corporations, company financial statements, specialized literature, etc.). Among the most relevant findings are the analysis of the expansion of sales during the first two decades of the 21st century and the diversification and internationalization strategy pursued in a context of consolidation and strengthening of the group.
