Abstract

This paper is situated within the field of government oversight actions regarding environmental public policies, with a specific focus on strengthening tactical planning processes for external control. This is achieved through the systematization of information aimed at the continuous improvement of environmental governance. As a case study, the paper applies the Systematization and Reorganization of Environmental Information (SIREIA) process to the oversight activities conducted by the National Audit Office (AGN) of Argentina for the period 2006–2024. These activities are broadly linked—transcending sectoral boundaries—to the challenges of climate change.
