Abstract

In this work, we aim to review the policies that the United States (under all its administrations) implemented during the 21st century to contain the economic and industrial development of China. In particular, we will focus on the measures through which the united states intervenes in the scientific and technological advancement of the Asian country. The effects of these policies on china are also analyzed; with these measures, the united states has not only moderated the economic development of the Asian country but also its annual growth rate. Finally, the work mentions the open conflicts, with latent threats of military intervention, that all these years of containment have caused both between the two countries and at the international level.
