Industrial and agricultural corporate elite: permanence and stability during the Macri administration

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore and describe the characteristics of the leadership of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) and the Argentine Rural Society (SRA) under the Cambiemos administration. A sociological analysis is carried out, focusing on the corporate trajectories of business leaders to understand their productive activities, union affiliations, and the ways they access and remain in corporate leadership positions. The role of business corporations as political actors in Argentina and their capacity to influence the design and execution of public policies make them relevant subjects of study.
