Abstract

This paper examines how the global scenario of conditional unipolarity impacts Pakistan, the way the United States exerts pressure based on its geostrategic objectives, and the role China plays along with the new economic logic brought by its increasing ties with Pakistan, highlighting both advantages and disadvantages. The study also  explores why this model fails to address social issues and regional disparities within Pakistan. This situation arises in a country that has not
resolved the severe problems of underdevelopment, within a global context where state fragmentation deepens and regionalism grows, underscoring the importance of studying a conflict-prone region like Balochistan. The research is driven by the interest in exploring global dynamics in other contexts—Pakistan being a country with a long-standing pro-Western tradition that has established strong ties with China—with enough detail to observe the consequences and draw conclusions that may be relevant to Argentina's reality.
