Abstract

This paper is an initial contribution within the framework of a research project on the configuration and organization of agro-productive territories in northeastern Argentina, which aims at trying to explain the recent functioning (beginning of the 21st century) of agro-productive territories, with the objective of measuring the impact of the pandemic and identifying sets of good organizational practices applicable in the post-pandemic period.
In this framework, the processes of construction of agro-productive territorialities in a peripheral region of Argentina are contextualized, with special consideration of the contexts that operated as bases of disparity and inequalities. These issues become particularly relevant in the Latin American context as a scenario of innumerable conflicts derived from the action of capitalism on a global, regional and local scale that involves pressures, unequal struggles and environmental contamination.
