EL metabolismo socioeconómico argentino bajo los distintos patrones de acumulación

Abstract

This work analyzes the changes in the socioeconomic metabolism of Argentina between 1961-2013 under the concept of patron of accumulation. An articulation of the theoretical frameworks of Political Economy and Ecological Economics and the parallel analysis of production patterns and consumption patterns are used. The implementation of Ecological Economy concepts and indicators allows us to see the trends hidden by traditional economic indicators. These deeper diagnoses are indispensable instruments for the definition of an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable development path.
